Q: How does it feel to be a part of BHS TV?

A: BHS TV is like a family. We always help each other, we do everything together, and if things don’t work out, then we always group up. And if we fight, we always come back and love each other.

Q: What motivates you to do BHS TV?

A: When I grew up, I wanted to be an editor for this big editing company, but I always wanted to edit because I always saw these cool commercials and movies. I saw them and always thought I wanted to do that. I thought BHS TV was a class for me. I tried it out and ended up loving it first year. Second year, now, I’m doing the news, and I love every position.

Q: Is there a certain job that you have in general that you love?

A: My favorite job in BHS TV is probably anchor or editing. With anchoring, you can always show your emotion and do your thing. Editing you can show a little bit of emotion, but you can always make it your kind of style.

Q: Besides BHS TV, you play soccer. How do you manage your schedule to edit and play soccer?

A: My schedule ends up always having to put editing first. Soccer is an after-school activity, and you always have to put school first. That’s what the coaches always push you to do and as a student, I know I have to get my A’s in classes before I put soccer first.  I always manage my time with editing, and I know if I don’t slack, then I can get the video done before soccer–then I always can always play.

Q: Which one do you wish to focus on in your future? Film or soccer? Or is there anything else?

A: I think I’ll focus on film. Soccer is fun and all, but I’m not that great, and I can always push myself to be better. But I think editing is more my style.

Q: What is your biggest accomplishment between soccer and BHS TV?

A: My biggest accomplishment for BHS TV is probably our ISB video. It was a music video. ISB is like this state wide contest where you enter in a whole bunch of different categories, and music video happened to be one of them. We did the Beastie Boys’ “Sabotage”, and it was the funniest video I’ve ever done. My biggest accomplishment in soccer– I don’t think I have one. I‘ve always had fun. This year, I had the most fun and we accomplished a lot. We came from freshman year to having one or two wins. This year we ended up winning most of our games and came out strong.
