Q: When did you start tennis? Why?

A: I started tennis at 10. But this is why. The best tennis player in the world at the time was Serbian (Djokovic) and if you didn’t know, I’m Serbian too. I loved trying to “overachieve” no matter what challenge so I set a goal that I would work toward being the best as well.

Q: Do you plan on playing tennis the rest of your high school career and/or college?

A: I don’t actually know whether I will or not. I got a full ride offer to play at a well-known academy in Southern Florida after spending a couple weeks there over summer. So depending on what I say to that offer will even depend on whether I play even next year.

Q: What is one strength and one weakness you’d say you have playing tennis?

A: I wouldn’t say I have any weaknesses, but for strengths I guess I have a big serve and a big forehead.

Q: Do you have any unique ways of practicing or training?

A: Not really, I just try my best in every practice I have and do what I need that day to practice to become better.

Q: What do you think has made you most successful in your tennis career?

A: Well I wouldn’t say I’ve had any crazy good results, but it would probably be qualifier which is basically the best tournament in the state for my age group.

Q: What would you say your greatest achievement has been in your tennis career?

A: Winning a couple matches at clay court nationals.
