My name is Demi Smith, and I am a freshman at BHS. This is my first year being a part of the school’s newspaper. I was interested in joining because I wanted to learn more and gain practice with writing and learn how to do photography. My main interests are the sports teams and informing people about the academics at our school. My goal in journalism is to become a better storyteller and expand my writing. In addition to writing, my hobbies are reading novels and watching movies. After high school, I aim to be a family lawyer minoring in history.
