Just four years, Team 2026 were freshmen, figuring out where each hallway was and fearing the upperclassmen. But now we are the seniors about to graduate and move on with our lives.
In the next few weeks, there are going to be graduation parties (grad parties) because on June 6, 2026, the seniors will be graduating from BHS.
Seniors often have grad parties to celebrate what they have accomplished over their high school career.
Students are going to send invites to their friends and family. This could be an online invite or an invitation that gets sent from the mail.
“I’m going to IU to study nursing, and I’m just getting excited about that,” senior Jesse Bryan said.
Many people have different types of food at their parties. It should represent who they have become. For Bryan’s grad party, she is going to have Mexican food. On top of that, she is wanting a queso fountain.
At parties, there are usually lots of decorations.
“There’s going to be a bunch of pictures of me throughout high school,” senior Rylee Nuetzman said.
At the same time, people will be providing activities for their guests to do at the party. There can be a memory activity where people say their favorite memory of the graduation senior.
Nuetzman’s grad party will also double as her birthday party, so Nuetzman is having a birthday cake at her party.
Some people might have rented out a venue for their party while others are having it at their house.
But at the same time, some people might choose to not have a grad party. Senior Alexandra Cruz-Alvarado is not having a grad party. Instead, she decided to go to Mexico sometime during the summer and have a little get-together with her family.
Graduation is the time where seniors are able to celebrate everything they have accomplished!
