If I had to ask anyone about a tech problem, even as a tech–savvy person myself, I would ask Aleksander Janakovich. Janakovich has been interested in technology all the way back to when he got an iPod Touch.
“I didn’t really know how it worked, and I wanted to know how it works… and then years later, now I’m here, you know, gearing up for like an IT job,” Janakovich said.
His passion for literally anything tech-related is fascinating. It isn’t just his appreciation for tech that’s interesting, it’s specifically his career desire for Network Architect. Network Architects are the people who plan the entire system layouts for buildings, where every component of a network must be placed strategically, just like our school must, for everyone to be connected to the internet. He is also incredibly involved in the field, not just doing the bare minimum classes.
“I’m just kind of going to Area 31. That’s what I’m doing. Yeah, I’m there. I’m doing the stuff, the cybersecurity, the networking,” Janakovich said.

He also uses a network planning website that “allows you to basically make a system without making one effectively, which is really nice.”
Janakovich also has hobbies, such as gaming and maintaining his own home server. If you have any questions that are technology related, I can almost guarantee that he will have an answer to it. It is particularly important that we appreciate people who even make the ideas of others, or entire corporations possible. It just so happens that he will be working in a field that runs everything behind the scenes, and it’s important to emphasize those who are knowledgeable in such spaces, especially as technology use will continue to increase in our lifetime.
