uPaint pottery is a family friendly store that invites families to be creative and artistic.
Kelli Singleton has been the co-owner of the uPaint pottery store for about 14 years with her friend Stacey Heltsley. There are four locations: Plainfield, Westfield, Noblesville and Greenwood.
Each month, there are classes where instructors teach a specific piece, and for those wanting something more individualized, there are walk-ins and they can choose a sculpture to paint their own way.
For the month of May, there was a flower clay shop where instructors taught participants how to sculpt a flower and then the class got to paint them.
Classes are the only time when the customers can hand sculpt an item. For freestyle, customers can purchase an item at the store to paint.
Once the artist paints their masterpiece, they will get it back in five to 10 days because they get glazed and fired in the kiln.
uPaint is for all ages, children too, and the studio offers summer classes. Visit https://www.upaintpotterystudio.com/ to find more information!
