When walking through the hallways, you will see a girl laughing and talking with her friends. With this big school you might not know this girl, but when you get to know her, she has a lot to offer. This girl goes by Del, but her mother named her Deliah Sasse. She is a senior at BHS, and she is graduating this December.
By graduating this December, she is planning on getting her EMT certification by the end of May. She will be helping patients on the spot of a medical-emergency incident, and she then will bring the patients to the hospital.
With graduating a semester early, Sasse can finally say that hardest class over her last four years was AP Psych.
“I just didn’t have enough time to memorize things,” Sasse said. “Especially with the AP exam, it was just kind of like everywhere.”

In Sasse’s free time she likes to hang out with her friends. When they hang out together, they go shopping at least once a week. But when she’s not doing that, she has a part-time job at Pinheads. Some weeks, she can work 25 hours, she averages around 11 hours a week.
Sasse has a boyfriend that she has been with for a couple of years. Sasse mentioned how boyfriend has impacted her in many ways. He has taught her that it’s okay to “not always have to put people above myself” when it comes to having emotions.
Her friend Addie Waters has been friends with her ever since she came to Brownsburg. She thought that she was funny, and it was a good opportunity to make a new friend.
“Del has inspired me to be a better person and work towards the things I love,” Waters said.
