Eek is a brown bat at the Eagle Creek discovery center. “He was found with a wing injury and is unable to fly,” Heidi Shoemaker said. He is kept at the facility as an ambassador for wild bats. "He helps teach the public about wild bats!” Shoemaker added. Shoemaker also shared that, “Bats in Indiana sometimes do ‘mini migration’ where they will move to southern Indiana caves where its warmer.” Unfortunately, because of the wavering Indiana weather, bats can be tricked by semi-warm weather and come out of hibernation when it’s not time yet.

The Brownsburg A team for the 200 yard freestyle relay was made up of senior Mary McCluskey, freshman Helen Nguyen, sophomore Kennedy York and senior Baylei Crawford. They were able to get the win for the event for Brownsburg.
Swim Season Preview
Senior Paul Cormany breaks it down pre-meet for the JV. Going into the last home meet of the season on senior night and conference, Cormany had the honors of breaking down the huddle. Cormany also led the dogs JV on the course finishing ninth with a time of 17:01.
